Special Edition • The Power of Music

I was lucky to have four days to spend with Mom.  The last two mornings, when I arrived at her place there was "funeral music" playing in her room.  All it did was make me very, very sad!

Instead, I started playing cds of her favourite singers . . . and instead of feeling really sad, I felt stronger, and by the time she passed away later that afternoon, I was ready for it . . .  by her side, holding her hand and listening to some of the most beautiful music in the world.  Here's just a few of the pieces we listened to.
